I've been there during the day, but I haven't hit up the nights yet. Working at a bar cramps the nighttime style.

Ah. I suppose we've missed each other then.
I usually stop in to give my coworkers some treats in the mornings.

I've only been to one fight and it was... Let's just say it was very much in the theme of this city.

There was for one of the fights. It was one of the potential handicaps for a kind of group fight.

But there was also one fight in which the winner would take the loser right there on the mat.

That was during my first month here so it was kind of shocking to see. Even more shocking when my name was called because someone put it in for a fight.

[ Now she'd probably participate willingly instead of having had her name pulled because someone thought it'd be funny to put her name in the hat. Even though she still can't fight. ]

I mean I get getting tired of being constantly vigilant about what you eat or drink and needing relief but

I don't think the fights are always like that.
I think it was a special night.
Like the special parties we have at the Clockhouse.

It makes sense you know that Oswald owns both locations.

[ That's... kind of a turn off, truth be told. He's not going to avoid the Arena for workouts and such now, but he'll definitely be careful if he goes to the nighttime events. Just like he's going to be way more careful about the Clockhouse. ]

Just make sure you don't go on a themed night if you want normal fights.
Same with the Clockhouse if you just want a normal night of drinks and treats.

yeah I learned that about the Clockhouse the hard way.

Sorry, I had meant to warn you about the drinks during the parties.
They like to go all out for the holidays.
I suppose if it's any consolation, even if you do drink those drinks and get left in a certain way, you might have to deal with it on your own.
Because no one is interested in helping.

Or maybe that's just my luck.

everything that happened turned out... fine. ultimately. but if I had my way, with one exception, I'd want to deal with it on my own.

Considering it's also my place of work, I suppose it's better when no one wants to do things with me there.
The flowers are always a bit of a pain to clean up immediately after.

The drinks aren't magic. They're drugs.

The flowers are because of me and you know. I can make them go away but after I would rather cuddle instead of having to immediately clean up.
